Hello

I've had a few emails asking for more context - I'm probably not be best person to explain this, but the way I understand it is a visualisation, such as a sound wave for example, which mirrors the sound and coveys the intensity of the audio. These have been introduced in particular on the gaming industry where the audiovisual content is meant to be immersive in nature, but it still applies to other types of media - for example, a movie where sound may convey suspense or significant emotional moments.

Subject: Audio visualisations

Hello

Listened to a fascinating talk today about audio visualisations to incorporate the experiential aspect of sound rather than just the informational aspect for deaf users. Is this something that WCAG has considered including in the guidelines at all?

Thanks

Sarah
