The XML Protocol (XMLP) WG has decided to close issue 324 [1], which you originated, with the following resolution. The WG decided to close the issue without making any change to the spec. The WG felt that the existing text conveys the correct and appropriate meaning. If this resolution is not satisfactory to you, please contact the WG asap.
