Hi all,
I recently created a proposal [1] for the WS-Description Working Group
that specifies a language for describing data structures that use SOAP
1.2 Data Model and SOAP 1.2 Encoding. [2]
The new schema language is meant to enable the description in WSDL 2 of
web services that use SOAP 1.2 Data Model.
Following discussions with Asir Vedamuthu [3] it is likely the proposal
will be expanded and then re-presented to the WS-Desc WG. The idea is
that if this doesn't mean a significant resource commitment by the
WS-Desc WG, the WG may publish such material either in one of its spec
documents or as a Note.
I completely forgot to alert the XMLP folks to the existence of the
proposal before, so here you go. 8-)
If the XMLP WG shows interest, the resulting publication could be
embraced by both groups.
Best regards,
Jacek Kopecky
