I didn't find the answer to my questions in the archives of the newsgroup, so here is my question : in SOAP 1.1 (www.w3.org/tr/soap), the example 2 in 1.3 and some examples in A.1 and A.2 are like the following : <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> [...] </SOAP-ENV:Envelope> My question concerns the "/" at the end. Is that XML compliant or is it a error ? JEROME HICKEL Hewlett Packard Laboratories Filton Road Stoke Gifford Bristol BS34 8QZ.
