Sure, and if THE protocol isn't available? :) There's gonna be more than
one, and it seems like folks here want to present the same suite
regardless of the underpinnings.  That may be insoluable.

I'm also tempted to mention end-to-end, "UDP checksums not necessary
since IP has them", and other old-fogey issues.
