I'll be representing Sun Microsystems in the XML Protocol WG.

My roots are in publishing, with careers that include technical writer 
and developer of SGML-based publishing systems. My most recent career has 
been in web-based enterprise management, where I helped realize a 
messaging system in XML[1].
