proposal to withdraw Masking proposal

The proposal for a Bib-1 Truncation Attribute 105,
Masking, at
http://www.loc.gov/z3950/agency/proposals/masking.html

has largely been motivated by  SRW development.
However, SRW has taken a different direction (more
on this in a future posting) and no longer has any
interest in this proposal.

If you are still interested in this proposal
please respond by November 15. If there is no
response the proposal will be withdrawn.
