I have set up a page sequence for odd and even numbers. Whereby the odd page
displays the page number in the top right hand corner and vice versa for an
even number.

The question I have relates to the initial page number.
I am finding that if the first page is an even number then the above pattern
is ignored for the first page but is adhered to for subsequent pages.
However, if the initial page number is an odd number then there is no
problem.

Has anyone got any suggestions on why an even number as the initial page
number does not follow the pattern?

Regards.
