VoiceXML feature proposal

I would like to ask that a new feature be considered for inclusion in a
future release of the VoiceXML specification: There is currently no
means to dynamically alter the playback speed of pre-recorded audio
files, just as you can with TTS via the prosody element in SSML. The
SALT specification supports this feature as do both the Intel-Dialogic
and NMSS voice platforms in their API's. It would seem to make sense in
terms keeping the playback speed of pre-recorded audio consistent with
that of the controllable TTS output.
