Validator issue

Hello,
I parsed http://www.qmpeople.com/users/laserion/foaf.rdf with validator but
I didn't understan well first error: Missing "charset" attribute for "
text/xml" document.
In fact, I used only english characters and I'n my opinion there is no need
to specify other charset
