I tested one of my "validator torture" URLs:
<http://purl.net/xyzzy/ibm850.htm>.  It passes
the XHTML check, but somewhere in the CSS test
you drop the ball.

The W3C CSS validator also hates redirections,
interestingly the W3C validator constructs a
working CSS validation link without redirection
on the fly.
