You do not understand XHTML:

You serve your document as "text/html".
You include a <meta charset>.
You use pseudo-comments with <style>.
Your page is nothing but "div soup".
Your page is a mess when I increase my font-size for ease of reading.

Stop using XHTML until you understand it!

Concentrate on writing "real HTML" with meaningful elements
instead of "div".
