Hello. I'm new to this list, and have subscribed solely for the purpose
of translation.
Just for the fun of it, I would like to translate the
http://validator.w3.org/ to Norwegian.

Most of the reason for this, is that a friend of mine owns the "w3.no"
domain, and I'm currently using "validator.w3.no" as a vanity host on
IRC. I'm also greatly absorbed in having all my HTML writings in both
correct html/css AND having identical display no matter what GUI web
browser you have (incl. IE).
Having all browsers display equally is also why I'm not currently using
any xhtml (afaik, pure xhtml needs content-type application/xml+xhtml,
and IE doesn't do that justice. not even <?xml combined with <?php is
given justice by IE as far as I've tried it out.. so I'm still on Wilbur
:p ).

Before I start translating, I have a few quick questions...

1. Is there any new release planned soon? I see the lastest tarball is
from 2004/07/23.
2. If I translate the htdocs folder, what about all the given errors like:

Line 56, column 24: document type does not allow element "STYLE" here
Line 70, column 528: end tag for element "IFRAME" which is not open
Line 157, column 10: end tag for "LEGEND" omitted, but its declaration
does not permit this
Et cetera...

Any quick advice for what I should translate is appriciated... I want
all of what the user will eventually see to be in Norwegian.

Med vennlig hilsen / With regards
