HTML 4.01 Validator Complaint from John Luetke on 2004-12-16 (www-validator@w3.org from December 2004)

i have validated by pages by using the HTML 4.01 validator. however, 
errors appear concerning the <embed> and <object> tags that are used to 
place Flash movies into html pages. i think that this issue should be 
addressed. also, if the only thing that doesn't clear the validation 
process, may i still place the  XHTML 1.0 check image on my page?
