Interesting, although I won't remove my links to the validator
(valid icon, alt="XHTML validator" instead of "valid XHTML").
A W3C icon in the lower right corner of all pages should not
confuse visitors.  And a valid page with icon is still better
than an invalid page without icon... ;-)

If you want a "XHTLM 1.0 fail" icon for your page you could
copy <http://purl.net/xyzzy/invalid.jpg>
