Dear Librarian,

Perhaps your library would be interested in my "Irish" memoir set in San
Francisco, Confessions of a Shanty Irishman. There are reviews on the
internet. It is up for an American Book Award, and was the "book of the
Month" at Emigrant Online in Galway.

I currently teach at Idaho State University. Perhaps you have a few
Irish living in Texas, though the book should appeal to anyone with
immigrant grandparents.
