http://validator.w3.org/check/referer depends on your browser sending a
proper 'Referer:'-HTTP-header. If it does not work, it is most likely,
your browser did not send such header or some proxy on the requests way
to validator.w3.org filtered it out. If you are sure this is not the
case, please give us additional information on what you tried to ensure
this.
