It is likely that at some point during this period you've installed a
personal security product (personal firewall, antivirus, etc.), or that
your systems admin or ISP has installed a similar product between you and
the general Internet.

The message you receive when you click on the icon indicates that the HTTP
"Referrer" header is getting stripped off somewhere along the way from your
browser to the Validator.
