It includes the minimal set of modules required to be an XHTML Family document type, and in addition it includes images, forms, and basic tables. It is designed for Web clients that do not support the full set of XHTML features; for example, Web clients such as mobile phones, PDAs, pagers, and settop boxes. The document type is rich enough for content authoring, and is implemented using XHTML modules as defined by XHTML Modularization. The end date for this last call is 15th March 2000. Comments may be sent to www-html-editor@w3.org, and the archive can be found at: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/www-html-editor/ The following are the working groups that are especially invited to review the draft: Schema SVG Math SYMM Internationalisation Mobile access Style sheets Voice browser Television WAI The working group's decision to go to last call is minuted at: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-html-wg/2000JanMar/0364.html The last call was further agreed at the Hypertext Coordination Group meeting held on 7th February. Best wishes, Dave Raggett HTML activity lead (acting on behalf of the chair of the HTML WG - Steven Pemberton, who asked me to do this as he has been sick for the last few days).
