Hi,

Mozilla will include an open interface for "Transformation services". Wouldn't it make sense to standardize the interface, so that all browsers on all platforms have the same interface and can use the same "plugins"?

The interface in Mozilla can be implemented as needed - so you have competely freedom.
The only main restriction is that the browser knows the installed plugins to make it possible for the plugins-preferences dialog box to provide an up-to-date list of available plugins.

It would be nice, if the same binary could be used for all browsers on one platform to support new browsers.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Ben
