UNIXWARE to support image

Hi,everybody.
I want to set up a WEB server in a UNIXWARE system,the server is httpd_1.4.2.
But I find the UNIXWARE operating system can not support images,such as
*.gif file.So from the netscape to access the web server ,I can only get text
file,can not get images.
May be someone who have experiences in Unixware can help me.
