As best I can tell, this allows a TCP connection to hop from Wifi to 4G etc. http://tech.slashdot.org/story/13/09/19/1251203/a-little-heralded-new-ios-7-feature-multipath-tcp Presumably of at least indirect interest for the TAG's discussions of HTTP 2.0, SPDY and maybe even (from a performance point of view) split browsers, though that last one seems a stretch.
