Re: XML-SW, a thought experiment

I notice the BNF grammar for the contents of xml:lang attribute that 
went away in the second edition made a reappearance here. Is that an 
oversight or deliberate? If deliberate, why?

In either case, RFC 1766 has now been obsoleted by 3066:

The text should reflect this. (Not that I'm convinced this is a good idea yet.)
