Mea culpa, I just realized Sandro was talking about URIs in general, not
just http URIs.

FWIW, I've never heard anybody suggest that even the "thing", like "me",
or "Dan's car", couldn't be identified by *some* URI.  I think that both
sides in the httpRange-14 debate would agree with that.
