Following this and other comments, the SVG WG has resolved to drop the
functional notation (originally introduced in CSS 2) such as font().

Instead, the value of requiredFormats is simply a space-separated list
of Internet Media types.

In consequence, the particular section you quote thus has only the first
three Internet media types, and drops the image() one. Please let us
know shortly if this does not address your comment.
