Hello SVG Developers,

I am very pleased to announce that W3C has moved the SVG 1.1 and SVG
Mobile specifications to Candidate Recommendation status, and calls on
the developer community to intensively test, implement and use these
specifications now they have reached this level of maturity. A Press
Release was issued (in English, French and Japanese) supported by
Testimonials from members of the Working Group.

Also released today was the first Working Draft of a profile of SVG,
XHTML and MathML, a collaborative work by the SVG, HTML and Math
Working Groups. There are two early implementations of this inline,
multi-namespace document type, Mozilla and Amaya.
