I just want to say that I feel like this topic has become unecessarily
contentious. The suggestion to poll was merely to provide some data since
it would appear that we have some disconnect in what is in the mind of the
average developer, not to fuel the fires. To a small, but _i_ think (just
me) important extent there is a confusion/clarity issue where we would be
better off not using a sese of "variable" in this draft. I think "var or
not var" is the only real question - beyond that - we have several options
and Francois thinks the shed should be blue and Tab thinks it should be
green. Of course, the rest of us can see plainly that it should be purple
;) I was merely suggesting why not just add var as one and see what
happens in a poll that we all promote.
