What? This is patently false.  We have always used a vendor  
extension, -webkit-border-image.  I didn't raise any issues because I  
didn't come across any.  I think the spec is fine as is.

Our implementation has some minor bugs with 'round', but that's our  
bug and not any problem in the spec.
