Paris, May 2nd 1999 We are pleased to announce the new release of the Java-Based SMIL Player SOJA! "Cherbourg" release provides new functionality: - z-index - relative positioning - parallel loading - progress bar while loading - bgcolor parameter to specify a background color while loading (better integration in web pages) - fit attribute support (except scroll bars) and SOJA's weight is now 59Ko !!!! (instead of 70Ko for "Barbizon") The SMIL Tutorial has been also updated to take "Cherbourg" into account.
