"RedBook Demo: an Ontology-Driven WebPortal" 18Nov @ MIT

I have other obligations on 18 Nov, but perhaps
other folks would be interested in this talk at MIT/LCS.

If it's interesting, you could even send a few notes
to this list about how it went, maybe.

Upcoming Seminar:
RedBook Demo: an Ontology-Driven WebPortal
Michael McGeachie

Abstract
The Redbook WebPortal is an online-community website designed for HST
students and researchers. The site demonstrates techniques for matching
users to descriptions of research projects, seminars, or academic
gatherings. The website allows many of the standard online-community
features: discussion threads, event sign-ups and RSVP lists, and content
ratings; plus searching for research opportunities and recent
publications of HST scientists. The demo will outline how these features
are implemented, and suggest areas for future research.

Michael McGeachie is a PhD student in the Clinical Decision Making Group
at MIT LCS.
