Hear  ye,   hear ye, 

For RDF no XPATH
-> do the new RDF/PATH !
RDF/PATH should not select in a RDF/XML tree, it will do on 
RDF GRAPH representation !!!

(RDF Graph = good)
(RDF/XML = evil)

It could be a one-week-hack do do a simple RDF/PATH syntax based on RDQL
and JENA.
and some people work on this, as we have seen already...

then somebody should integrate this in xslt....

Nay nay,  canonical syntax not in sight soon :-)
