DAML-S and CC/PP

I've just been looking at DAML-S [1], and out of the blue I remembered an
exchange from April last year. This was in relation to a strawman proposal
for a process profile I'd put together [2], and the point that came to mind
was made in the message [3] which is summarised in its opening sentence : "I
hate to say this over and over, but CC/PP is exactly what you describe: A
metadata framework for agent description.". I was wondering what the views
of the CC/PP and DAML-S folks were on this, as presumably if this were the
case (and allowing for substitution of 'service' for 'agent', which I think
is acceptable in this context) then DAML-S is also reinventing the CC/PP
wheel.

Cheers,
Danny.
