For a couple of specific disciplines there are databases or "authority lists"
which could be used to seed it -

Library of Congress "Tools for Authority Control--Name Headings"
	http://lcweb.loc.gov/cds/name_aut.html
Getty Research Institute "Union List of Artist Names"
	http://shiva.pub.getty.edu/ulan_browser/

Otherwise, you better contact the tax office!
