Comment title: Classes vs. categories

The use of categories versus classes of products is altogether unclear.  If categories and classes of products are to be called out, normatively, then these should have status in the TOC (the list of categories and the list of classes should both have ids, be targets for hyperlinks, and should have subheadings to identify them visually).
