Test FAQ ready to release, draft announcement to Chairs

Hi QA WG,

Patrick told me that the Test FAQ was ready to release at:
http://www.w3.org/QA/WG/2005/01/test-faq

I've found the results really of high quality, so thanks to all the
contributor for this, but in particular to Patrick whose hard work
clearly shows here!

I want to announce this to the Chairs mailing list, both to make it
better known, and to request feedback and ideas for new questions. Here
is a draft announcement, comments welcome before tomorrow morning my
time, when I plan to send it.

:<----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Chairs and Team Contacts,

The QA Working Group has just released a first version of a Test
Development FAQ, available at:
http://www.w3.org/QA/WG/2005/01/test-faq

The 17 questions it addresses match the different topics the QA Working
Group has found particularly important for most Working Groups in W3C
and incorporate examples and ideas from various existing testing efforts
in W3C.

We think the current version of the document is already a useful tool
for most Working Groups and hope you can help us advertise it among the
participants of your own groups. The discussion on Test Suite
development that was held during the Technical Plenary 2005 was a
particular inspiration for this, and we believe it addresses at least
partially some of the most important interrogations that this discussion
raised.

The QA Working Group is also greatly interested in getting feedback on
the current answers proposed by this FAQ, as well as in getting new
questions that the FAQ should cover.

You can find this FAQ linked from the QA Library [1] and the W3C
Guidebook [2].

Regards,

For the QA Working Group,

I have already linked it from the W3C Guidebook [1] and the QA Library

the Chairs announcement.
