This policy is wrong

Allowing patents to encroach on standards will make the standards un-usable
by small developers and open source developers.  The web was developed by
these people, why is the W3C trying to kick them out now?  All I can see 
this policy doing is destroying any relevance of this committee, and force
people to move to another.

Hope clearer heads will think about this, and not force it through.
