To whom this may concern, I'm a web designer who has been VERY supportive of the W3C standards in the advancement of my education that has developed from taking classes with the HTML Writers Guild. Promotion of fee-based standards is a very serious issue here, folks. I know exactly what it means for me as an open source user. If this issue becomes enforced with W3C standards, I WILL NOT EVER support the web standards again. I WILL FIGHT against this issue until I can no longer breathe. Controlling web standards thru royalties must be a Microsoft idea, who else would dare think of such a kniving and twisted way of taking away freedoms on the web as this. I fully support freedom of choice in America and beyond whether it pertains to world affairs OR my PERSONAL Computer !!!!!!
