Dear W3c, I wish to add my name to the chorus of independent software developers who oppose any attempt to substitute any form of commercial licensing for the free and open licensing that currently constitutes W3C standards. And I wish to express my astonishment and incipient anger at the way this proposal has come to light broadly on the Internet--on the very day of the expriry of the open comment period. How is it that happened, hmm? Shame on you, W3C. Matt Matt Benjamin The Linux Box 206 South Fifth Ave. Suite 150 Ann Arbor, MI 48104 tel. 734-761-4689 fax. 734-769-8938 pgr. 734-431-0118
