against patent-fees in w3c standards

I am no native english speaker, all the documents on the websites are very
hard to read for me.

But as far as I can see, the w3c is about to destroy the free development of
the world wide web.

The w3c must not service as a cash-machine for big companies! If the w3c
decides on a graphics-standard that will cost royalties to implement it,
there will be no official royalty free alternatives standardised in the w3c.
Since the w3c is the official standards body of the web, the whole world MUST
ADHERE to a standard, which must be paid for to a single entity.

This standard suddenly transfered into a cash cow for that single entity and
a nuisance for the rest of the world. This is not allowed to happen!

The _worldwide_web will be taken away from the people and given to the greedy
hands that want it since they realized its potential.

If someone wants his royalty prone formats standardised, he should send it to
the ISO or DIN or IEEE.

Implementing a w3c's standards adhering web browser must be free for all!

The web is public domain, keep royalties out!
