The incorporation of patents into "standards" is an oxymoron of 
Orwellian proportions. Excluding open source developers of accessing 
the "standard" is not standardization, but Gleichschaltung.

Five huge corporations are shoving this down our throats, giving the 
public only a day or so to comment. They didn't need to write such a 
wordy document. Seven words would have been enough: Resistance is 
futile. You will be assimilated.
