Dear Sir,

I will be succinct and to the point.  Your new stated 
policy on inclusion of patented material in W3C 'standards' 
stinks.  You will will only be creating division and 
resentment by this action.  The question must be asked:  
What is the genesis of this type of behaviour?

Please consider a review of this policy immediately before 
the W3C loses all credibility.
