The whole idea is insane! I can't believe someone actually came up with the
concept.

I believe in the Internet and everything that it stands for and value highly
the work w3 puts into creating and maintaining standards.

The words 'Internet' and 'Patent' should never be put together as this would
end up doing more damage than good - for a start - different standards would
be developed - privately owned Internet segments will start to pop-up.

If you w3 start this, you will be opening the door to something you won't be
able to control nor have a say.

Keep it free! Keep it simple! Keep it standard!
