Patent Policy Review Period Extended

Come on guys, what part of "Massive Public Revulsion" don't you understand?

Patents have no place in Worldwide Web interconnectivity standards.  The purpose of the web is to be an open communications medium accessible by everybody, not just by the products of giant corporations such as Microsoft and Apple, whose representatives are clearly trying to push the patent policy through despite a clear and massive public outcry against it.

W3C standards must be free of patented intellectual property.  To do otherwise is to act blatantly against the public interest in a transparent attempt to cripple great software like Linux, Apache, and SendMail.
