Count me as a HUGE NO vote for RAND. Perpetuating patents, trademark and copyright is counter-productive in a world that where virtually everything is derivative. Innovation is impeded due to the roadblocks of these "last millenium" institutions. They don't produce anything of value. They don't add value to what is produced. They just finance leagues of bean-counters, paper-shufflers and a few more lawyers. It is time to rid ourselves of such things, not feed them. NO, NO, NO... keep it Open!! Michael Lewis
