Royalty-free standards

Dear W3C,
Please do not bow to the pressure of corporate influences. The W3C was
created for all of us to protect us from proprietary technologies. Allowing
royalty driven standards will invalidate all the W3C represents. It is also
reprehensible that the W3C would violate their own procedures to push this
agenda despite protests from their constituents.

-Mark Schult (Olympia, WA)
