Dear W3C, I read your arguments for RAND and think, that it is a stupid idea. It can't happen, that the Web-users have to pay for simple usage of open standards. In the long run you can destroy the homogenous internet with that strategy – many users and makers will oppose to that policy and develop their own open standards based on the actual standards.
