Dear Sirs,
I would like to express my concern regarding RAND licensing and non-free
standards. I believe it will halt many valuable
Open Source/Free Software projects, hinder many (Apache being a good
example),
and the overall result will be negative for everybody.

Yours Sincerely,
Ralf Hildebrandt

A distributed system is one in which the failure of a computer you
didn't even know existed can render your own computer unusable.
