SMIL vs, ASF, Dynamic HTML, HyTime

Following the recent notes contrasting SMIL with MHEG, it would be nice to
also hear informed opinion contrast it to some other similar formats such as:

Microsoft's ASF

Dynamic HTML

HyTime

On technical grounds, application types, and potential market take up ?

These views could be useful in building the FAQ on SMIL.
