I came across this old thread, since I am running into exactly the same intermittent problem. A google search doesn't help here, and the only relevant information is on your page. I am forced to use the xsl technique since I am running on a web server outside my control (i.e., I can't use content negotiation). Was this ever resolved? Niels Walet --
