META is www-html obsolete?

There is a heavily cross posted debate going to almost every w3c list 
except this one, which is essentially about the future of XML and HTML 
(the vendors are essentially saying that HTML must support 
multi-namespaced documents but using the XML syntax is not an option).

It seems to me that this list is no longer in use by the W3C decision 
makers.

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
